Upon completion of her interior architecture studies, Mary Cardillo teamed with Jan Willem Grijsen (carpenter), and together they have worked successfully for ten years acquiring and restoring ancient properties. Beginning initially in northern Europe and then continuing on into other countries, they eventually moved back to Mary’s home region of Piemonte.

It is here that "C&T" arose - out of passion for their work and with a vast amount of experience. C&T works mainly in the Piedmont and Liguria provinces - regions that offer year round outdoor activities, such as Olympic ski facilities, great sea in the summer, hot air ballooning, motorsport and off-road adventures, as well as an excellent gastronomy accompanied by world famous wines. The grass roots of the organic food and "Slow" movement started here, and it's evident in the abundant, fresh seasonal produce found in every backyard.

It is still possible to find very good, affordable "rustico like" opportunities in these areas, typically properties or farm houses available for acquisition and restoration; it’ s also very simple to find good quality vineyards in order to start wine production activities (aziende agricole) and the lesser known truffle farms.
